The moon hung high above the Rivers Pack territory. The annual pack gathering was the largest and most celebrated event of the year. Wolves from every corner of the country had traveled for days to attend. The palace had been transformed. There were glowing chandeliers in the hall, giving the whole place a lovely golden glow. There were beautiful flowers hanging from high beams. The red carpet spread in the middle of the room. The pack banner hung proudly in front. The wolves were all dressed in their finest clothing. The women wore their most luxurious dresses while the men were all dressed in designer suits. Everywhere we filled with sparkles of the finest jewelry the people had on.  The air was filled with the sound of talk, laughter and clinking glasses. Everyone felt excited to be here.
