Chapter 105: "Maya-where the hell are you?"
Leo's POV
"Where the hell is she?" I paced the halls for the thousandth time. It was getting late now, and there was still no sign of Maya. Jackson had cried himself to sleep the night before. I still couldn't believe that Maya had acted that way towards our son. He was inconsolable, and somehow, Max and I had managed to settle him, but all he had asked for today was his mother.
What can I tell him?
We have no idea where she could have gone.
"Any updates?" I barked as my brother approached the corner, his face matching my concern. He shook his head sadly and sighed heavily before kicking the door in frustration.
"She can't just disappear without a trace; this is ridiculous," Max clenched his jaw and looked at me as if I had all the answers.
"Well, we both know she isn't in the right frame of mind. How can she be?" I tried to think of anywhere else she may be.
