"What happened to her?" My mother asked as she rushed to my side immediately as I stood there in humiliation. The mark on my collarbone glistened under the light, and she stared at it in horror. "Who did this? You found your mate?" I looked around at my pack members who gathered around me, and then I looked back at the ground. "Your mother is asking you something, Faith!"
