Author's POV Moira knew very well that Jude owned several large companies, so he was always very busy managing everything. According to Mirielle, he had to go on a business trip for the next two days, so he would have to leave her behind. After several busy days at work, Moira began to forget what had happened a few days earlier—the meeting with her father and his harsh words toward her. They had knew nothing about her or what she was going through. What was more, her father had never been on her side since she was a child, so whatever he and the people around him thought didn't matter to her. She had started to get used to it and had to. Although there were always times when she would lose her resolve, it was a process for her. Her mood had improved when her phone rang with Mirielle's name on the screen, she didn't hesitate to answer the call. "Yes, Pumpkin?" "Mom, can you come home? Dad is out of town on business.
