Chapter 60: You Are All I’ll Ever Need

Demi The combination of anger, pain, jealousy, and sickness hit me all at once. Did I just witness Ryder checking another woman out? Hot tears flooded my eyes and I turned away from him and started walking towards the garden. I don’t want him to see me cry. Ryder wouldn’t do that, I know him, right? I heard hard footsteps fast approaching me.             “Demi!”   I picked up my pace and sloppily wiped at my eyes with my sleaves.             “Demi, wait please!”   The sincere pain in his voice had me slowing and then stopping right before I got to the lake that was one of my favorite parts of this kingdom. It was hard to see the shimmering water through my own warm tears that still defied me. I don’t want them to fall damn it! Ryder made it to where I was. He reached for my elbow, but I quickly pulled it away.             “Don’t touch me!”               “Demi don’t be like that. It’s not what it looked like, okay!
