Kate. I can’t sleep! For hours now I’m lying awake in my bed tossing and turning around! All because that one short message, a sign of life of Mikal: “Meet me in the cave!” that’s all it said but for me that was enough! I could feel it in my bones that it is Mikal who is finally coming for me after so many months of uncertainty! I’m now 8 1/2 months pregnant and feel and look like a balloon about to pop so it think it’s high time the father appears! I give up on trying to sleep and take a shower. When I’m done and dressed i grab a bag and put a first aid kit inside after which i sneak out downstairs to the kitchen to grab some water and some snacks since i haven’t the foggiest idea in what state i will find my beloved in the cave so i better come prepared! I think by myself unaware of a pare of eyes that are spying on me!!….. When I’m done packing and after taking a blanket or two in a smaller bag i walk to the back door, remove the alarm and leave the house and walk towards the woods
