Aaron's phone buzzed with a message from Sierra. "I'm downstairs. Are you ready?" He glanced at the time, surprised she had arrived early. After replying, he grabbed his jacket and stepped out of his hotel room. Inside the elevator, he tried to steady his breath. For reasons he couldn't quite explain, he felt nervous. In the lobby, a few curious glances turned toward the white Maserati parked outside. Sierra was dressed in an elegant midnight-blue backless gown. Under the moonlight, she looked like royalty.
