Judy’s POV “I got here as soon as I could,” Gavin said, rushing through the doors of the clinic. “Where is she?” I could see the pure panic on his face and the sweat that beaded on his forehead from his run. I doubted he even had his car on him; he was most likely still on post when Irene mindlinked him. He had to have been in his wolf form; he only wore a pair of shorts that rested at his knees. His full muscular torso was on full display, and my Goddess, he was a gorgeous man. “Babe, I’m right here,” I tell him, trying to ease some of the tension in the room. Once his eyes landed on me, he rushed towards me, his arms wrapping gently around my body and pulling me into him. “What happened?” He asked, murmuring against my hair. “Is it the baby?” “No, I’m okay,” I whispered. “I don’t really know what it was. But both me and our baby boy are okay.” The tension in his body didn’t lessen at all. “I was so worried…” he whispered, peppering kisses along my hairline.
