Upon Alistair's command, a troop of men in black swarmed into the room from all directions. I screamed in fear while my legs turned to jelly. Right in the nick of time, a figure stood right in front of me. Ethan! He took a step forward and blocked everyone in his path. "I'll kill anyone who dares to lay a finger on her!" he bellowed. "Arrest this group of traitors!" Suddenly, another group of officers swarmed into the room. They instantly surrounded the bad guys, trapping them inside.
