Chapter 134 I Didn't See Anything
Donald's face flushed crimson.
"That's too much!"
Unable to hold back his anger, he lifted a foot, ready to storm into the room.
But a slender hand extended lightly across his path, stopping him. Nancy turned her head, gave him a calm glance, and shook her head.
It wasn't worth it, not with people like that.
Still, a reminder was in order. She turned back to the conference room doors, the corners of her lips curving ever so slightly.
Nancy lifted her hand and shoved the door open. The heavy wood slammed hard against the wall with a resounding bang.
The crowd, once buzzing with low whispers, fell into stunned silence at the sudden commotion.
Every head turned toward the door, eyes wide with fear.
When they saw Nancy's impassive face, the women who had been the loudest just moments ago went white as chalk.
Donald and the others glared daggers at them, righteous fury written across their faces.
Nancy, however, acted as if she hadn't noticed anyone's reaction. Her heels clicked
