Chapter 1798
Sebastian dashed into the dungeon and looked around anxiously, searching amongst the crowd. In the end, he found Orinthia in a corner.
She looked miserable. Her clothes were tattered, and her hair was in disarray around her. Fear and exhaustion was written all over her face.
"Orinthia!" Sebastian shouted.
Orinthia raised her head. At first, a lost look flashed past her eyes. After she recognized Sebastian, she burst into tears.
"Are you hurt?" Sebastian asked anxiously.
She shook her head, tears flowing down her cheeks uncontrollably. Only then did Sebastian sighed in relief and released everyone.
After Orinthia came out and saw the bodies scattered everywhere, she was shocked beyond words. Never did she imagine that Sebastian was so strong that he could wipe out the brutal Merry Pirates alone.
Afterward, Sebastian brought her to the entrance of Nine Spheres. While Orinthia went searching for her family, Sebastian found a quiet spot to continue cultivating Great Devouring Technique.
In a blink of an eye, it was the opening day of Nine Spheres, and Sebastian gathered with the others from Alpha Sect around the entrance.
The place was already packed with people. The youngsters from various sects waited in anticipation and nervousness for the opening. Arriving in a hurry, Sebastian immediately spotted his friends from Alpha Sect.
Jovi waved at him in excitement and trotted over to him. "You're here, Sebastian!"
Smiling, Sebastian nodded and scanned over everyone.
Eldridge stood with his hands on his back, wearing a somber expression. Looking at the nine apprentices in front of him, he said solemnly, "The mysterious Nine Spheres Secret Realm is filled with danger. Help each other after entering and don't act recklessly."
Raphael, the alchemy elder, stood in a corner, glowering at Sebastian coldly. While others were unaware, he secretly sent a message to Lambert via telepathy, "Lambert, find an opportunity to get rid of Sebastian. Don't let him come out alive."
Lambert nodded softly, a killing intent flashing past his eyes.
At the moment, the light at the entrance was glowing brighter; the sign that it was about to open. The crowd started to become restless, and the atmosphere was getting more tense.
"Get ready!" Eldridge shouted.
Taking a deep breath, Sebastian prepared himself and gripped his weapon tightly.
Along with a blinding flash of light, the entrance slowly opened, and an ancient but mysterious air greeted everyone. Before the crowd could take a closer look, they were sucked in by a strong force.
Sebastian's vision turned blurry, and his body flung forward unwittingly. When he could take a good look around again, he saw that he was within a thick forest, and Jovi was next to him, looking around warily.
"Be careful. We don't know what dangers lie in here," Jovi reminded in a hushed voice.
A low growl echoed from the distance at this time, and everyone tensed up, looking in the direction of the growl.
Using this opportunity, Lambert stole a look at Sebastian. An almost unnoticeable killing intent flashed past his eyes, but he didn't make a move.
As the growl gradually left into the distance, people continued to explore the secret realm carefully. However, as they walked, they encountered a forked road.
"Let's split up. Then, we can explore more areas and find the treasures and serendipity more quickly," someone suggested.
Everyone else thought that made sense and split into several groups, walking toward different directions.
Sebastian chose a more secluded path and walked alone. Before long, Lambert followed behind him quietly.
"Sebastian, what a coincidence!" he said with a snicker.
Frowning, Sebastian glanced at him warily, "What do you want, Lambert?"
Dropping all pretenses, Lambert said with a sinister look, "Today's your death day!"
After speaking, he raised his sword and lunged at Sebastian
Sidestepping, Sebastian shouted, "Why do you want to kill me? Give me a reason!"
