Chapter 1764

Sebastian smiled confidently, unfazed by the situation. Sooner or later, those two would end up as his enemies anyway. Mauro Ezequiel, the elder of the enforcement hall, was the grandfather of Conroy, whom Sebastian had killed. Raphael was also the mentor of Myke Towers, so this was a debt that wouldn't be easily settled. After everyone else had left, Sebastian remained where he was. "Do you need something?" Emmanuel, the head of the enforcement hall, asked. Sebastian met Emmanuel's gaze directly and asked, "Mr. Gazmey, did you suffer an internal injury in your early years?" Emmanuel's eyes widened in surprise. He had never mentioned this to anyone. "How do you know that?" he asked, clearly astonished. Sebastian remained composed and explained calmly, "I could tell from your complexion and breathing." Emmanuel's expression shifted as a glint of surprise flickered in his eyes. He studied Sebastian more carefully and then said in a grave tone, "I didn't expect you to possess such insight. Ten years ago, I accidentally fell into a deep abyss and was invaded by passive energy. Despite trying countless methods over the years, I've never been able to expel it." With a firm faze and sincere tone, Sebastian replied, "Mr. Gazmey, I can help you." Emmanuel furrowed his brow, doubt evident in his expression. "This condition is extremely difficult to treat. Don't make empty promises. The cold passive energy had been lingering in my body for years, even the elders of the sect couldn't do anything about it." Sebastian's expression turned serious as he clasped his hands respectfully. "I'm not speaking recklessly, Mr. Gazmey. By chance, I came across an ancient text that described a unique method. It might be able to resolve your condition." Emmanuel narrowed his eyes slightly, pondering for a moment before saying, "Very well. If you can truly rid me of this torment that's plagued me for years, I won't let your efforts go unrewarded. However, if you're lying or trying to deceive me, you know the consequences." Sebastian nodded solemnly. "Rest assured, Mr. Gazmey. I will try my best. Please find a quiet place so I can begin the treatment." Emmanuel led Sebastian into a secluded chamber. Taking a deep breath, Sebastian's expression became intensely focused and serious. His hands moved fluidly, each motion precise and deliberate. Strange arcs of light flickered and danced at his fingertips, gradually merging into a radiant glow that enveloped Emmanuel completely. Sebastian closed his eyes tightly, frowning deeply. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead, rolling down his face and dripping onto the floor. Emmanuel's complexion shifted between pale and flushed red as his body trembled involuntarily, clearly enduring immense pain. Time seemed frozen, each second stretching endlessly. No one could tell how long had passed when Sebastian suddenly opened his eyes and shouted sharply. With a forceful sweep of his hands, the light instantly receded. In that very moment, the cold passive energy within Emmanuel's body dissipated like smoke, vanishing without a trace. Emmanuel was completely cured in a single attempt. He was overjoyed as he sensed the changes within his body. The cold passive energy that had tormented him for years was finally gone. He looked at Sebastian with admiration and said, "Kid, you've really got some skills." Sebastian smiled faintly as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. "It's an honor to be of service, Mr. Gazmey."
