No matter how hard Ethan tried to placate Fiona, she was still just an outsider. And Fiona clearly wasn’t going to settle for that. Snapping back to herself, she clutched her burning cheek and marched right up to Clara without hesitation. Clara didn’t waste any time. Her face was cold as ice as she locked eyes with Fiona. “Fiona Barrington, quit messing with me. My being here is already bad enough. Push me again, and I swear, I’ll toss you right out that window.” Her words came out sharp, each one a clear threat. “You... You’re threatening me?” Fiona’s eyes widened in disbelief. Clara didn’t bother replying — her actions spoke for themselves. She grabbed Fiona’s arm and dragged her straight toward the window. This was the 22nd floor. Going out that window? That wasn't a scare tactic — it was either death or being paralyzed for life. Seeing the fury on Clara’s face, Fiona instantly shrieked, “You’re trying to kill me?!” Her scream was earsplitting, enough to make everyone nearby wince.
