Darius's POV
The music swirled around the ballroom, elegant and refined, but all I could focus on was the way Theodore Carter's hands rested on Dorothy's waist.
"Look at the two of them practically making out in public," Josh remarked with a disgusted click of his tongue.
I remained silent, my jaw clenched tight enough to hurt. The sight of my former Luna dancing so gracefully across the floor shouldn't affect me this way. I had no claim on her anymore—I'd made sure of that when I signed those divorce papers.
Caleb leaned forward, his voice dropping. "That's right. Do you think Theodore taught her?"
"The way she moves doesn't seem like a beginner," Josh scratched his chin thoughtfully, his eyes tracking Dorothy's movements with an interest that made my hackles rise. "I wouldn't mind asking her for a dance later."
His date—a human whose name I couldn't even remember—lightly punched his arm and pouted. "But I asked you to dance first!"
