The tension in the palace was so dense that a knife could pass through. The search party which was sent after the alpha had not returned and there's been no word from them since. And it wasn't just the Beta and the pack guards who went in search of the alpha, but some of the other neighboring tribes as well and even a few packs around them. Everyone was anxious, waiting for news and the rumors of what happened.
