"Hey Callie where are you going?" "Home." Alannis quickly ran after me in an attempt to stop me. "What happened?" "What always happens?! I told you he was a cold, heartless, alpha! I just want to go home." I sighed as I felt my rage mix with Nick's. He just had to come into the conversation at this time. "What's wrong?" "Don't worry about it. Let's just go home." He nodded his head and I threw my head back in relief before I walked outside to see Nick's new car. "So mom and dad wait until I leave to buy you a car?" "Jealous?" "Psh. My car was better." "Was?" Oops. Maybe I shouldn't have brought that up either. "Let's just go. We have a long drive." Nick nodded and I climbed into his car before I looked at Alannis. "You coming?" She seemed torn but eventually climbed into the backseat of the car as well. The ride was very uneventful.
