I had waited in my dressing room for hours on the day of my wedding, only to receive news of my family and relatives running into some car troubles on the way to the wedding venue.
I still remember Conan gently cradling my face that day, consoling me and telling me that his parents would be my parents anyway, and even if my father wouldn't be able to walk me down the aisle, his father would gladly do so on my father's behalf.
It wasn't until much later that I learned the vehicles that the Grandes sent to pick my parents and relatives up hadn't run into any car troubles at all.
Instead, the Grandes had brought them to another hotel and deposited everyone there with a buffet line.
And, Conan had known about that plan the entire time.
