[Violet’s POV] A booming voice came echoing from down the hall outside the library. My heart dropped into my stomach. I turned my head to find an insanely panicked-looking Lucian. His eyes were the color of two burning pokers. Before either of us knew it, the door to the library was practically torn off of its hinges. I was too numb to move as Lucian’s lethal presence smoked out the room.
