#Chapter 74 - Hidden Messages

[Lucian’s POV] I purposely kept my distance as each doctor came in to give their evaluation. While they were busy checking Violet’s vitals, I was studying her behavior. I picked up on her growing anxiousness with each question that was thrown at her. Her tolerance was wearing thinner by the second. It was all because of the blood. It was as if her wolf was circling, prowling around in its cage, just waiting for the chance to come out and snap at someone. I was honestly shocked that she was able to hold back all that bubbling anger. When I had taken her blood, I could barely handle myself much less deal with other people repeatedly asking the same damn questions. But I knew that kind of restraint wasn’t going to last for much longer. When the doctor made it clear that he wanted to keep Violet around to run more tests, I was shocked that she hadn’t snagged that damn clipboard out of the guy’s hands and flung it out the window. What actually got to me was seeing the lost
