ALPHA DORIAN’S POV
The dungeon reeked of iron and despair.
The heavy door creaked open as I stepped in, boots echoing against the damp stone floor. The guards stood silently, avoiding my eyes as I walked past. I didn’t need to ask them how she’d been. I could sense it in the air—the madness, the rage, the spiraling chaos that had now become her.
There she was.
Evelyn.
Chained to the far wall, her wrists bloodied and raw, hair tangled like wild thorns, and eyes burning like embers in a dying fire. She didn’t even flinch when she saw me.
“I was wondering when you'd show up,” she rasped, a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. “Did you come to play hero again, Dorian?”
“No,” I said, voice cold. “I came to talk.”
“Talk?” She laughed, a sound too cracked and eerie to be human anymore. “About what? The bridges I’ve burned? The bodies I’ve buried? Or maybe the way you’ve kept me locked up like a dog?”
I stepped closer, carefully watching her. She didn’t even try to hide the deranged glint
