"The patient's condition is changing rapidly," the pediatrician said quietly, adding, "As doctors, we can't predict how the illness will progress. I suggest seeking a compatible bone marrow donor as soon as possible. The sooner the bone marrow transplant happens, the better." Jasper volunteered, "Run a detailed test on me." "Okay, I'll get the nurse to do it for you now." Jasper sincerely held the doctor's hand and pleaded, "No matter the cost, please save her. You have to save her." Cole watched as Jasper left with the nurse. His legs felt heavy, and he couldn't move. "Doctor, can I go in and see her?" Cole could hardly believe that the sweet child who used to call him "Uncle Cole" was now lying on a cold hospital bed. "Yes." Cole entered the emergency ward. Tinkerbell was connected to various machines, and the beeping was unsettling. He observed her face seriously. Jasper's words had hinted at a connection. Cole noticed some similarities between Tinkerbell's features and Bradley's. After hesitating, he gently stroked Tinkerbell's head and took some of her hair. When he left the ward, he told the nurse, "Please do a bone marrow match test for me, too." The nurse was pleasantly surprised. "Sure, please come with me." Later, Cole encountered Jasper again when both were getting tested. Jasper's handsome face displayed concern as he said, "Cole, you should know that direct family members have better chances in surgeries like bone marrow transplants. You should persuade Bradley to get tested. Even if he doesn't love Esther, the child is innocent." As Bradley's assistant, Cole naturally felt protective of him. "Mr. Searle, you must be joking. We can't even be sure if Tinkerbell is Mr. Warner's daughter." Jasper scoffed, saying, "Cole, people might lie, but data doesn't. The paternity test will reveal whether Tinkerbell is Bradley and Esther's daughter." Cole had already obtained Tinkerbell's hair but kept his emotions in check and replied, "Mr. Searle, I'm just an assistant. I can't decide anything for Mr. Warner. But don't worry. I'll relay everything you said to him tonight." - After completing the tests, Cole returned to the private hospital under the Warner Group, where Felix was admitted from People's Hospital. Felix and Esther were undergoing surgery. The usually busy Bradley had put all his work aside to wait outside the operation ward. "Mr. Warner," Cole greeted respectfully. "I brought you and Ms. Anstey some food." Liliane shook her head, appearing worried. "I don't have an appetite." Bradley remained uncertain about Felix's condition as the surgery was still ongoing. At the moment, even a lavish feast wouldn't interest him. "Mr. Warner, Ms. Anstey, Mr. Felix's recovery after the surgery is crucial. You should eat to take care of him better," Cole insisted. Bradley turned to Liliane on the bench, softly trying to persuade her. "Liliane, please have some food." "Okay, I'll eat for Felix." Liliane didn't genuinely care—she maintained her pretense to keep up appearances. She passed by Cole with the food and returned to the hospital ward, revealing her true self. She felt triumphant and ruthless. Bradley had promised to marry her after Felix's surgery, and with the boy out of the picture, she could drop the act of a loving partner and mother she had been maintaining for over four years. As for Esther, she was worthless trash. She had had a chance to escape, but Bradley caught her and brought her back. What a shame! Liliane had planned to get rid of Esther and Felix at once, but nothing was guaranteed even if Felix survived the surgery. Liliane enjoyed her delicious food and scrolled through her phone, plotting how to maximize her gains from Felix's death. 'Dear Felix, don't blame me for being ruthless. Blame yourself for being Esther's son!' Suddenly, Liliane received a text message, causing her to drop her phone on the floor. She picked it up in a fluster and repeatedly checked the number that had sent the message. The person who had helped frame Esther five years ago was back?!
