#Chapter 165 Lacking a Luna
Aiden’s POV
The last thing I wanted was for Carol to leave because Katrina demanded it. She folded her arms across her chest and pressed her lips in a thin line as she glared at my wife. I didn’t like it one bit and I was about to put her in her place, but Carol shot me a look, no doubt hearing my thoughts and exactly how I felt about Katrina bursting into my office unannounced.
“It’s okay,” Carol said through our mindlink. “I’ll leave, but I’ll be back in a little bit. I’m going to the dining hall for lunch.”
I pressed my lips together, not wanting her to leave but Carol gave me a small smile before kissing my cheek gently.
I relented and sighed.
After a minute, Carol was walking past Katrina who gave her a nasty look. Carol pretended she didn’t notice though and closed the door behind her. I’m not sure how I got so lucky to get a mate like Carol, but I was grateful every day that the Moon Goddess chose her for me. I turned to face Katrina who was watching me with her ar
