Chapter 15: Fractured Truths XENOIS Was it Sophia who planned this? But why? I pulled out my phone from my pocket scrolling through my contacts until I found Sophia's picture. "Is this her?" I asked, holding the phone screen toward Thomas. The young man squinted at the image, his battered face frowning with concentration.  After a long moment, he shook his head weakly to the side as he looked a bit scared realizing that he might have provoked us. "No, sir. The woman who hired me... she was blonde, but different. Older, maybe. She had a scar along her jawline, real thin like. And her voice was... rough. Like she smoked too much." I felt a mixture of both relief and real concern.
