"No, I don't need it."
Vivian Donovan admired Camilla's necklace but was unaware of its true value. Regardless, she declined.
Curtis Huxley had already gifted her a necklace, so she didn't need Camilla's.
"We've known each other for ten days, at least. Do you really dislike me that much?"
Camilla stood before her, eyebrow raised playfully, silently challenging, *Are you really that indifferent to me?*
"I—"
Vivian was at a loss for words, choosing silence instead.
Camilla grinned at her reaction. "Your silence means you don't hate me. Come on, let me put it on for you."
"I'll do it myself."
Unable to shake Camilla off, Vivian reluctantly agreed.
She disliked owing favors, so she removed her own necklace and handed it to Camilla. "Here—a fair trade."
"Alright, thanks."
Camilla accepted Vivian's necklace, and just like that, they exchanged gifts.
She then casually sat beside Vivian, tilted her head, and whispered, "Now that we've traded, can you finally tell me your escape plan?"
