Chapter 2997
Gracie had been appointed by Severin as the next leader of the Skyblue Sect after hid depature, so she bore the responsibility of caring for his son, Hardin. Her sudden arrival, coupled with her injuries, gave Severin a bad feeling.
"Is it possible that something happened to the Skyblue Sect?" Severin weighed up the dire possibility of such a scenario.
Wasting no time, he tore through the space beside him and utilized his true immortal powers to traverse several hundreds of thousands of miles in an instant.
As soon as he hovered upon Grandiuno City, the royal paragon practitioners who were stationed there fled at once as they felt a strong celestial force sweeping over them. Ignoring their reaction, Severin hurried to Gracie's side as she lay unconscious amidst the vast mountains.
Gazing at her supreme saint attainment, he frowned slightly as he noticed her blood-covered body. He immediately tore the void open and brought her to the Grandiuno Sacred Land. That her injuries were near-fatal suggested that the Skyblue Sect was in danger—his priority was to save Gracie first and then ask her about the events unfolding on Earth.
Back on Enchanted Peak, Severin gently placed Gracie in the courtyard before raising his hand into a claw. The imprint between his eyebrows seemed to emit a torrent of divine light that harnessed the majestic power of creation from the surrounding area.
Even the tiniest concentrations of that power could cause the foliage on Enchanted Peak to flourish wildly. After channeling the power of creation into Gracie's body, Severin summoned a vast reservoir of spiritual energy from the heavens and earth to surround her injuries. The spectacle of such a massive outpouring of celestial energy drew the attention of his waves. They decided to put a pause on their seclusion and emerged from their chambers to enter the courtyard.
All of them were taken aback upon seeing the unconscious Gracie.
"Isn't that Gracie?!!"
"It is her! Why is she so badly wounded?"
"Wasn't Gracie in the Skyblue Sect? How did she end up here in Bleurealm?"
The women's expressions shifted from that of confusion to concern as they gathered around Severin.
Severin shook his head and said gravely, "Something seems to have happened to the Skyblue Sect."
He then grasped Gracie's wrist and infused her with the life-giving vitality of creation. After several moments, Gracie finally woke up from her unconscious state.
"W-where am I?" Gracie's voice was hoarse with pain and confusion.
As her vision cleared, she came to notice that Severin was standing before her. With widened eyes, she exclaimed in surprise, "Sect Leader? Is that you?"
She immediately suspected herself of dreaming after seeing Diane, Gilda, Sofia, and Sheila.
Gracie's dazed look immediately prompted Gilda to ask, "How did you get those injuries, Gracie? And how did manage to end up here? Did something happen in the Skyblue Sect?"
At long last, she finally accepted that she was not dreaming. She had broken through the barriers of space and arrived at Bleurealm.
Tears began to well in her eyes as she said to Severin, "Sect Master, the Skyblue Sect is in grave danger!"
Severin's expression sank when his suspicions had been confirmed.
"Stay calm. Tell me all the details. What happened?" Severin urged, even as he continued to channel the power of heaven and earth to help heal Gracie.
Through tear-filled eyes, Gracie recounted the harrowing events that had unfolded. "Ever since you and the previous sect master had left, we relied on the pills you gave to make a breakthrough to the royal saint. After that, we made preparations for a breakthrough to the supreme saint. But a crack in the void suddenly appeared not too long ago, and a bunch of invincible monsters showed up…"
Gracie took a brief pause before continuing, "That group of monsters were both cunning and powerful. They seemed to have a thirst for blood and essence, slaughtering several sects in just a few days. Several of our elders were dispatched to deal with the threat, but they were killed too. With the Skyblue Sect surrounded and facing the brink of extermination, I had no choice but to forcefully tear open the cracks in the void and try to find you."
