The next morning I woke up with a throbbing headache in my head and a mind full of new and unfamiliar concerns.
“Hey, little wolf.” Andres kissed my forehead and I softly smiled.
“Hey…” A huge yawn cleared my tiredness.
His brows furrowed, “You don't look like you have slept well… Is it about those nightmares?” His voice dripped with concern.
The mention of a nightmare shook me inwardly. My eyes dimmed as my lips pressed tightly. “Yeah, just some fragments of—dark dreams,” I muttered the last part slowly, so slow that it was barely audible even in my ears.
He leaned forward, kissing my forehead, “How about you get some sleep now? You'll feel better.”
I didn’t decline, I was truly weary with the recent events and nodded weakly.
“Good,” he kissed my lips softly. “Then go back to sleep, I'll ask the servants to bring your meal here once you wake up and feel hungry.”
