The hospital director was bewildered. Jamie had never asked to see Olivia's physical exam report during her pregnancy, making it obvious that she hadn't received any affection from him. The director knew that it wasn't his place to intervene too much. He headed over to the computer and printed Olivia's report. Jamie's frown deepened as he flipped through the thick stack of papers. Many of Olivia's tested values didn't meet the average standards. Even the results of her psychological assessment were abysmal. She had also developed the tendency to self-harm. It was unthinkable to Jamie that Olivia would ever resort to self-harm. He had known her for over a decade, and her image in his memories had always been a smart and strong woman.
