Margot stared at Tamara in desperation. Her hand gripped tightly onto Benjamin, and her vision blurred. Tamara slapped a hand over her mouth and started crying for her friend. “Save him…” sobbed Margot. Tamara couldn’t bring herself to speak. She shook her head at Margot. The poison inside Benjamin was deadly. It was one of the most lethal Tamara had ever encountered. There wasn’t any cure for it. When Margot saw Tamara shaking her head, she gradually stopped crying. She turned to Andrew. “Are you sure there are no antidotes?” Still, Andrew remained silent. He seemed to have accepted his fate and was waiting for his impending doom. Margot retracted her gaze and helped Benjamin up. She observed his pale face and watched as blood flowed freely from his mouth. Tears welled up in her eyes again, but Margot bit them back. “Benjamin, let’s… let’s head to the sea, okay?” choked Margot. Benjamin wiped the tears away. “Okay. Don’t cry.” Margot helped Benjamin out of the manor. Toget
