Chapter 323: Unveiling Hidden Talents
**Thelma Zane’s POV:**
Kaya, the elven captain we captured, glared at me with a venomous intensity, as if her eyes alone could strike me down. But her fury held no weight against the reality of her defeat. I paid her resentment no mind. Instead, I tasked Master Kevin with casting a memory-erasing spell on the captured elves. To ensure our tracks were covered, I had him subtly incorporate elements of evil sacrifices into the spell, effectively pinning the blame on the wanderers.
In the aftermath, a fleeting thought crossed my mind—I had unwittingly played the villain. Yet, in the complex interplay of race and politics, the lines between good and bad often blurred. To surrender meekly would have only emboldened the elves, pushing them to overstep further.
Some may be fooled by the benevolent facade the elves presented to the world, but anyone with knowledge of supernatural politics knew better. No race could claim supremacy in the supernatural realm by merely playing the "good guy."
