Chapter 247: Death
**Thelma Zane’s POV**
Mullwica’s protective spell enveloped Dorothy and me, shielding us from the chaos outside. In the hushed stillness of our corner, I could still hear every word exchanged between Mullwica and Azazel.
Their argument revolved around cryptic terms—divine blood, descendant, reincarnation. I understood the words individually, yet piecing them together made no sense.
From what I could gather, Dorothy had been Azazel’s daughter in a past life. But how did that align with the animosity between him and Mullwica? They were clearly adversaries, not family. And they certainly didn’t seem like former lovers who had fallen out. Yet Azazel claimed Mullwica had used his divine blood to give birth to his daughter, and Mullwica hadn’t denied it outright. Their connection was shrouded in mystery, though it was evident that their intertwined past had set the stage for this confrontation.
My thoughts drifted to Mullwica’s secluded home, hidden behind layers of space magic.
