Nicholas Perry lowered his voice, clearly intending only for me to hear. I looked up at him, but before I could say anything, a low, familiar voice interrupted from not far away, "Nick." Following the sound, I looked over, and Ronald Wright's young, handsome face came into view. Dressed casually, he strode towards us with long, confident steps. Nicholas's eyes lit up, and he rushed forward quickly, "Ron, I told you there's no need to pick me up. You're too polite!" Ronald smiled faintly, giving him a light pat on the shoulder, then walked over to my side. "Isabella mentioned she's here for an interview. Is it with your company?" Charlotte Barnes and Oliver Barnes exchanged bewildered glances. I curved my lips into a cold smile and said dryly, "Yeah, but I’ve decided not to go. I’m skipping the interview." Nicholas shot me a quick glance and smirked with an unmistakable chill, practically sparking with sarcasm. "Don’t worry. Even if my company’s desperate for people, we’d never hire you
