Nolan's POV "What the hell is this?" I asked in disbelief, removing my sunglasses to get a better view of where we were. We had just arrived from the airport, and now they were telling us we had to cross over on a boat. We had never had to cross with a boat before. What happened to the luxurious car I had ordered to take me to my hotel? "We were asked to escort all of you safely across the water," the person in charge of the boat said. "Why? This isn't the way to the hotel," Audrey replied. She turned towards me. "Am I wrong? Is it just me, or is this path entirely different from the ones we used to take?" she inquired. "Of course it's different. Can't you see all the tall trees?" I responded. "Maybe this path is safer than the ones we used to take, and the hotel could just be behind those trees.
