Chapter 25: Awkward dinner

Nolan's POV I checked out my appearance for the last time in the rearview mirror of my parked car. Satisfied by it, I held the gift bag tightly in my arms and made my way to the door. Genevieve won't give me her house address so I had someone find it out for me. A mere thing like a house address can't stop me from having dinner with them like I said I would. I rang the doorbell and stood with a smile on my face. The door suddenly opened and I met Genevieve's mum. "Good evening Mrs. Gonzales. It's nice to see you again," I greeted politely. "Evening Nolan, nice to see you too. How have you been and how are your parents?" she asked with a smile. "We are all fine. This is for you," I said, extending the gift bag to her.
