Lex’s POV I read the letter for the tenth time since I first found it and pushed it back in my locker just before the bell for the first period rang. Why was life so chaotic and love so messy? I closed my locker shut with a firm click before I saw Joy and Dante coming out of the washroom together. Looking at the Beta, reminded me of my sister and the threat, and a long, tired sigh escaped my lips. Bella had to be protected.
