One kidnapper pocketed my necklace and strode out, slamming the flimsy door behind him. Curled in the corner, one thought screamed in my mind: Don't come, Griffin. Please, don't come. Michael's gaze swept over my injuries. His pupils dilated. The next second, he lunged like a rabid beast at the kidnapper, a powerful kick sending the man crashing to his knees.
