I curled up, shivering at a corner as memories of the Blood moon pack. I couldn't count the number of times I had been thrown into the dungeon.
I felt very cold and the ground only worsened the situation. It was peak black, and my stomach grumbled, making me exhale deeply.
Molly was anxious, she was restless and she couldn’t stop coming to the edge. She didn’t utter a word of encouragement or comfort to me and it hurt deeply but I swallowed it like a bitter pill.
Damon didn’t believe me, I didn’t poison the Luna but then, why would anybody believe me? I had been the only person to handle the food so there was no way out for me. Whosoever it was that planned this must’ve thought about it for long.
I heard the rattling of the gates and I lifted my head up instantly, forcing my aching body to rise as my heart began racing, happiness filling my soul as I waited for Damon to walk inside.
