Chapter 41-01

　　 　　 　　 　　 　　"How did you end up here?" I asked Cyra curiously as I took a bite of my cooked meat. I never asked what it was, because I was to scared to know. It tasted good though. 　　"I prefer to live alone, and I was good friends with Alpha Gabriel's parents. They let me stay here if I did business with them. When Gabriel became Alpha he let me stay. I'm glad because I like it here," she responded while eating her dinner. 　　We sat around the fire, the crackling and popping filling in our silence. I finished my dinner before getting up and stretching. 　　"So how did you two meet?" Cyra asked. I froze and shared a look with Damien. 　　"Uh, we met at an Alpha meeting," I answered her.
