Chapter 123 I Want It Back
Beth's POV
My gut told me that there was something hidden in that tree.
I raised my head to look at Aaron. Hesitantly but expectantly, I asked, "Come with me?"
Aaron nodded and handed me his coat for me to put on my shoulder. We passed the long corridor to the palace garden and saw the white tree sticking out in the middle with its withered branches. "It is dead." I frowned. Failing to feel any vitality from the tree disappointed me greatly.
"I saw it in my dream. In my dream, it was alive, and its leaves were dancing blue flames. You were in the trunk, sleeping quietly. Emma told me she cursed you to die when the next full-blood moon arrived."
My limbs went cold. Even the mention of that dream frightened me. However, I looked into his eyes calmly and said firmly, "I will find a way to stop Emma's curse from happening."
I would never let Aaron leave me. I silently clenched my fists. Aaron did not
