"We should have lazy mornings more often," she mused, tracing patterns on his skin.
Logan chuckled, the sound rumbling through his chest. "I couldn't agree more. Though if we did, we might never leave this bed."
Deonna propped herself up, grinning down at him. "Is that supposed to be a downside? Because I'm not seeing it."
Logan laughed, pulling her down for another kiss. "As tempting as that sounds, I think the kids might have something to say about it. Not to mention our jobs, the vow renewal..."
At the mention of their impending celebration, reality began to seep back in. Deonna groaned, burying her face in Logan's neck. "Don't remind me. We have so much to do today."
"Hey," Logan said softly, tilting her chin up to meet his gaze. "No matter what chaos awaits us out there, we've got this. Together."
Deonna smiled, the love shining in her eyes matching his own. "Together," she agreed, sealing the promise with a kiss.
