Out of Love's Haze

Ruby Lynch feels like her body is about to fall apart when she regains her consciousness. The pain stimulates her to open her eyes.When she does, she sees the pool of blood beside her and the twisting staircase above her. Her head is still spinning when she vaguely hears voices coming from upstairs.
