"Vincent!" Kimberly called out to him several times, but he didn't respond at all. She was both anxious and furious. The guests below began to whisper among themselves, and the emcee frantically tried to smooth things over. Kimberly hastily nudged Vincent in the arm. Only then did he snap out of it. The emcee quickly added that perhaps the groom was simply exhausted from the wedding preparations and asked everyone for their understanding. Vincent and Kimberly then distractedly exchanged rings.
