Wendy's bow lasted several seconds. When she finally straightened up, she didn't spare James a single glance and turned to walk out of the police station.

Wendy stood in the doorway for a few seconds when she heard Brody call out behind her, "Dr. Sanders, let me have one of my colleagues drive you home."
