The doctor started cleaning up her wound, and that's when Vilma turned on her performance mode. "Doctor, I heard that internal injuries after a car crash don't always show up right away. I've got a headache, I feel dizzy, everything hurts. I need tests—I wanna be admitted."
Robert frowned at her—clearly, she was trying to milk this situation.
"Anywhere else hurting?" the doctor asked.
Vilma rolled her eyes dramatically and lay back on the bed. "I feel like throwing up. Seriously, I hurt everywhere."
The doctor quickly tried to calm her down. "Alright, don't worry. I'll get Dr. Brooks."
The young doctor rushed out to call on-duty Reuben Brooks.
"Dr. Brooks! Got a car crash patient, says she's dizzy and nauseous."
