"Dane, come home with Mom. Bring Lettice too. Whatever you can't remember, we'll fill you in," Alicia pleaded, reaching for her son.
"No." Dane Price shook his head. "I have to go back. That woman… she says she's my wife."
Alicia looked visibly worried. "Dane, she's lying to you. Please don't believe a word she says."
Lettice Loftus also grabbed Dane's arm, anxiety written all over her face. "Dane, don't go back. Trust me, that woman's a fraud. She's playing you. She's not a good person."
Dane stood frozen, eyes darting, clearly torn and silent for a long time.
"Get him in the car," Alicia said lowly to Lettice, signaling her to pull Dane in before he changed his mind.
