Nathan stormed out of the restaurant, cursing under his breath. He'd just lit a cigarette when someone bumped hard into his shoulder.
"You blind or what?"
He looked up to see James towering over him, eyes sharp under a baseball cap, looking like he was ready to throw down.
Nathan scoffed inwardly. This guy really was all brawn, no brain. He frowned and took a step back. "Alright, I'm leaving."
There was no way he could win in a fight.
That day at the club, this lunatic barged in swinging, and even with all their numbers, no one could take him down.
What a waste—he'd do great in the military.
Even that shoulder bump stung.
