Stanton ignored Madeleine and turned to the PR staff, saying, "Call the police."
Helen Reese let out a breath, clearly relieved. "Exactly, Mr. Beach. There's no need to let her explain anything. With her record, she doesn't deserve another chance. Just report her right away."
"Uncle, maybe give Maddy one last shot? Just letting her leave the company might be enough," Jenny spoke up, her tone full of concern.
Stanton gave a cold snort. "Jenny, don't be too soft. Your sister's still locked up because of her."
Jenny sighed, looking regretful. "She just doesn't seem like the kind of person to do something bad."
"You never really know someone," Helen added, fanning the flames.
Madeleine stayed calm, quietly sitting as everyone left. When Stanton and the PR team walked out, she turned to Helen. "I'm pretty chill, actually. But I've got something you might want to hear—a little recording. Interested?"
