Chapter 508 Tell Me, Has Someone Bullied You?

Zayn could not shake the feeling that something was not right after he hung up. In fact, Zayn had always been a person who was extremely observant. Furthermore, she could not leave on her own and needed someone to pick her up so that she could escape, thus she had called Zayn and especially emphasized for him to drive his car there. On top of that, he knew that Faye desperately needed him based on how pleasantly surprised she sounded. After waiting for two minutes, there was still no sign of Faye. Zayn decided not to waste any more time and directly went upstairs to look for her. The posh clubhouse was very luxuriously renovated. Just the parking in front of the main entrance was filled with luxury cars worth millions of dollars. A single glance at it was enough for anyone to realize that that clubhouse catered to the wealthy. However, the moment Zayn entered the clubhouse, he frowned slightly as he had a bad feeling about that place. He was observant enough and immediately noticed that there were a few couples being very intimate. They were flirting with each other and engaging in some rather questionable activities. Some of them had rather large age gaps, which pointed to the fact that they were most likely not husband and wife, but were actually having a secret affair. Furthermore, an unpleasant smell lingered in the air while the lighting was designed to create that kind of intimate atmosphere. Overall, it did not seem like an appropriate place to be in. Then, Zayn suddenly recalled something. ‘There was this one time when I was in my office in Violet Vision and I heard a few of the management level staff mention this place while they were chatting. If I remember correctly, this is a place that provides shady business to the upper echelons of our society. Why would Faye come to this sort of place then?’ At that moment, Zayn’s expression became extremely dark. ‘Faye had better be safe right now, or I’m definitely not going to forgive anyone who harms her!’ With that worrying thought in mind, he hastened his pace and directly ran upstairs. Currently, Zayn’s physique had already exceeded that of a normal human, plus his hearing had also greatly improved. Therefore, when he arrived upstairs, he heard the sound of many people arguing coming from a direction. Amidst their argument, he even faintly heard Faye’s helpless voice, causing him to panic, so he immediately rushed over as anger welled up within him. “Sir, this is a private gathering. You cannot enter without a permit.” When Zayn rushed over, there were two well-built bodyguards adamantly blocking his way. Upon arriving at the entrance, he was able to hear Faye’s voice even clearer which sounded panicked and helpless. ‘She’s obviously being bullied.’ At that thought, it was impossible for him to hold it in any further. The door was a solid wooden door that was as heavy as 100kg, thus it would be tough for an ordinary person to be able to smash the door open within a short amount of time. However, Zayn managed to kick it down with just one strike, which produced a loud bang, instantly shocking the entire clubhouse! In fact, the two bodyguards that he pushed away were just about to pin him down. However, when they saw this scene, their eyes immediately widened as their entire bodies trembled in fear. Then, they hurriedly faltered as they looked at Zayn, whose eyes looked akin to a monster’s. As for the people within, they were even more frightened as every single one of them shivered. Even some of the braver ones were so terrified that they immediately sat down on the floor. Instantly, everyone turned to look at the main entrance, where a furiously dangerous Zayn stood. Apart from them, Faye had also fiercely turned her head. When she saw Zayn, her eyes instantly reddened as if she had finally found her pillar of support. Her entire body changed from being extremely anxious to relaxed. Then, she ran towards Zayn. “Zayn, you’re finally here!” When Zayn saw how aggrieved and panicked she was, coupled with the situation inside the room, he got a good grasp of the situation, and the anger within him burned even brighter as he rushed forward immediately to embrace Faye who jumped directly into his arms. Then, he comforted her, “It’s alright now. Don’t be scared. I’m here now, so no one’s going to be able to bully you anymore. You’re safe now.” When Faye hugged Zayn, she immediately felt a lot calmer. Then, he gently caressed her silky hair and softly asked, “What happened? Did someone bully you? Tell me so that I can vent your frustration for you.” Faye buried her head in Zayn’s chest. “You arrived just in time before they were able to do anything to me. Thank goodness you’re here.”
