End things
LESLIE’S POV
I changed into a cute yellow blouse and jeans after freshening up at home. Wade was at his father's office and although I looked forward to seeing him after school, it was for the best.
I wasn't sure I could face him and tell him that I was going to Adrian's house to end things with him. The last time I had brought something like that up, Wade had formed a wall between us and told me to keep Adrian.
I didn't want a repeat of that. I was a one man woman and I wasn't keen on playing anybody. If I was going to be with Wade, it was going to be him and no one else.
Still, I liked Adrian. As I drove to his house, a feeling sat in my stomach and it took me a while to yo realize what it was. It was sadness. I was actually sad to let him go.
He was a great guy; perfect, even. He paid attention to me, showed me off to his friends and he kissed me like we were in a fairytale.
