LESLIE’S POV I held onto the necklace and looked up at Wade. “Thank you,” I said, “It’s beautiful.” “My mom gave that to me so you know how special it is,” Wade said. He reached out and pushed my hair back over my shoulders. “I’ll never take it off.” He grinned. “I wouldn’t expect anything else.
