Brownies for dessert

LESLIE’S POV I couldn’t lie. I enjoyed the fact that Wade and I were coming to some kind of semblance of being friends. We weren’t there yet because we still hated each other’s guts and he found everything I did annoying but, I was grateful for the fact that he was even here. It was clear that he and Brandon had a strained relationship, one I wasn’t sure Mom was aware about. Wade didn’t have to be here for as long as he was already. And yet, by some miracle, he was picking me up from school and helping me out at his father’s office. Since he was working overtime, I decided to make him something special.
